Discover the lovely surroundings of the campsite by driving to Barcelona, Cambrils fishing village and Tarragona, for example. Beach holiday on the Costa Dorada Enjoy a holiday on the Costa Dorada; the ‘golden coast’. La Torre del Sol campsite is located in Catalonia, just south of Cambrils. You won’t be far from the famous resort of Salou, so you know what will await you: sun, sea and sand. The campsite is located right on the Mediterranean beach. It’s the perfect destination for a beach holiday. You can be standing in the soft sand in just a couple of steps from your holiday home. Swimming pools between palm trees It’s wonderful to take a dip in the Mediterranean, but you can also enjoy the water park to the full at this Spanish campsite. The large pool is positioned between the palm trees which give it that extra mediterranean flavour. Everyone can enjoy the water at this Spanish campsite. The very youngest can paddle safely on the gently sloping beach. Older children can play pirate games on the pirates’ island. Step into the whirlpool which twists like a snake between the palm trees, for some invigorating bubbles. The indoor pool with sliding roof is only accessible to adults (from 16 years of age). Sports, games and spectacular shows Skating track, playground and sports fields: children of all ages can enjoy themselves here. While they are on a pirate camp with the entertainment team, you can enjoy some sport. Knock a ball around on the tennis court or the squash court, then go to the sauna to give your muscles a rest. Or go into the hammam for a hot bath. In the evening you can all enjoy Catalan tapas or pizza. If you want to do your own cooking, you can find everything you will need in the shopping centre at La Torre del Sol campsite. After your meal you can enjoy a spectacular show in the open air theatre. Teenagers from 16 years of age can party in the ‘Ra’ disco. This is a disco in the shape of a pyramid! Luxurious holiday on the beach You will find everything you need for a successful holiday in one of the spacious mobile homes. The lovely camping grounds are filled with mediterranean plants. You will be staying among olive trees, flowers and swaying palm trees. Wherever you stand, you’re never very far from the beach. If you want to be right on the beach, you can reserve a pitch with sea views for your own camping equipment. Barcelona, Tarragona and Cambrils You can take some lovely city trips between your days on the beach. La Torre del Sol campsite is close to many lovely Spanish towns. Lively Barcelona, with the Ramblas and Sagrada Familia is a ninety minute drive away. But Salou and the Roman town of Tarragona and the fishing villages of Cambrils are also nice. Less than half an hour’s drive and you’ll be there! Also possible by public transport. You will find the bus stop 150 metres from the campsite.
