In addition to the large bouncy castle and the jolly climbing frames, the youngest holidaymakers can join in with the dance sessions, face painting and treasure hunts. Sports competitions and themed evenings are organised for older children. And how about an archery lesson? That really is fun. Secrets from the ocean One of the big advantages of a holiday in Southern Finistère is that you can go in any direction for a day out. Step ashore on the granite island Did you know that Brittany’s 1700 kilometre long coast has a wealth of small islands? Don’t miss one of the loveliest islands close to the campsite. Within a half hour drive from the campsite you can take the boat in Lorient to the island of Groix. After a pleasant crossing you will be in the small harbour at Port Tudy and the adventure can begin. The best way around this granite island, the nickname for Groix, is on a rented bike.
