And the wonderfully clear water is great not only for diving and swimming laps but is ideal for snorkelling as well. And there is plenty to explore under water. A warm dip Camping Porton Nature Hideout lies only 200 metres from the Adriatic Sea. All you have to do is cross the street. This means that a refreshing dip is always nearby - not a luxury at times with the hot Croatian sun. Because the sun is high in the heavens so often, the water here warms up quickly. This means that the temperature of the water is very pleasant during the summer months. Cocktail with a view There is yet another reason to go to the beach during your holiday. From your chaise longue or towel, you have a magnificent view of one of the most beautiful cities in Croatia: Rovinj. There is also a cocktail bar and a snack bar at the beach for the necessary refreshments. One of the most beautiful cities in Istria is within walking distance of the campsite. The historic city of Rovinj was once an island, and the romantic old city is still surrounded by water for the most part. You can wander through the picturesque streets for hours on end, enjoying a bite to eat and a drink at one of the outdoor cafes. The cities of Poreč (35 km) and Pula (50 km) are definitely worth a day trip. Both cities allow you to become immersed in the ancient Roman culture, with many structures from that time still to be found.
