The impressive water park features slides, waterfalls and rock formations, while an indoor swimming pool provides a great alternative on cooler or rainy days. Horse riding is available just 1 km away, and Dutch is also spoken at Camping La Vallée de Deauville. Charming towns and the D-Day beaches The beach at Deauville is only 4 km from the campsite. The famous D-Day landing beaches, where the Normandy invasion took place during the Second World War, are around 40 km from Camping La Vallée de Deauville. The area is home to several museums and memorial sites, including the Canadian War Museum near Juno Beach.
