Enjoy a holiday at a five-star destination

Enjoy a holiday at a five-star destination Camping La Vallée de Deauville is located on the Normandy coast, in the Calvados region, east of Caen. Deauville is one of France’s most famous seaside resorts, as is nearby Trouville. This exceptional campsite has earned no fewer than five stars, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday in France. A fantastic water park The campsite is beautifully maintained and set in lush, green surroundings, with colourful flowers, mature planting and even a fishing lake. Besides spending time on the nearby Atlantic beaches, there is plenty of water fun to enjoy right on site at Camping La Vallée de Deauville. The impressive water park features slides, waterfalls and rock formations, while an indoor swimming pool provides a great alternative on cooler or rainy days. Children can have fun in the games room with computer games or let off steam in the playground. The campsite restaurant is well worth a visit too. Horse riding is available just 1 km away, and Dutch is also spoken at Camping La Vallée de Deauville. Charming towns and the D-Day beaches The beach at Deauville is only 4 km from the campsite. The famous D-Day landing beaches, where the Normandy invasion took place during the Second World War, are around 40 km from Camping La Vallée de Deauville. The area is home to several museums and memorial sites, including the Canadian War Museum near Juno Beach. If this is your first camping holiday in Normandy, you may be pleasantly surprised by the region’s gently rolling countryside, picturesque harbours and authentic market towns. Honfleur is a particular highlight. For something a little different, there is also a karting circuit nearby. The lively resorts of Deauville and Trouville are highly recommended as well, with their marinas, tourist train, casinos, elegant promenade and welcoming atmosphere. Taste the world-famous Calvados While exploring the region, be sure to visit a local distillery and discover how the world-famous Calvados apple brandy is made. Many distilleries offer tastings, where you can sample both this distinctive spirit and the region’s delicious apple cider. Pont-l'Évêque is one of the best places to enjoy this experience. All in all, Camping La Vallée de Deauville is the perfect base for a memorable holiday in France.
