The Battle of Crécy in 1346 was one of the defining battles of the Hundred Years' War. The English army, led by Edward III, defeated a much larger French force through the effective use of longbowmen and defensive tactics.

The Battle of Agincourt in 1415 remains one of the most famous medieval battles in European history. Another major English victory during the Hundred Years' War, it saw Henry V's smaller army defeat a much larger French force.
