The enormous capstone, weighing many tonnes, appears to balance perfectly on several upright stones, creating one of Wales' most recognisable ancient landscapes. Visitors can walk around the monument, admire the engineering skills of prehistoric builders and enjoy spectacular views across the Preseli Hills, an area also connected with the mysterious origins of Stonehenge's bluestones.
