The Dingle Way circles the Dingle Peninsula from Tralee, taking in Slea Head's cliffs, Mount Brandon, and some of the richest concentration of early Christian and prehistoric sites in Ireland, all with the Atlantic almost constantly in view.

Terrein

Coastal paths, quiet boreens and one significant mountain crossing over the shoulder of Mount Brandon. Generally easy to moderate going, well waymarked with the yellow walking-man symbol, though the Brandon section is more serious and exposed in poor weather.

Tips

Slea Head, at the peninsula's western tip, is the scenic highlight — allow extra time here. The Brandon mountain crossing has a lower-level bad-weather alternative if conditions are poor. This is a good option for a shorter first multi-day trail in Ireland.
