Streckenkarte

Gelände

High alpine terrain including via ferrata-protected sections in places — a via ferrata kit (harness, lanyard, helmet) is genuinely needed for some passages, unlike Alta Via 1. More remote and less crowded than AV1, with longer stretches between refuges in places.

Tipps

Come prepared with via ferrata equipment and some scrambling confidence — this is a step up from Alta Via 1 in difficulty. Refuge bookings are still essential in summer, though it's noticeably quieter than the more famous AV1. Most walkers take 12–14 days for the full route.

Genehmigungen & Zugang

No permits required, though several sections require via ferrata equipment and experience.
